Homeowner Claims-Actual Scenarios and the Impact on Your Wallet
Monday, October 17, 2016
Three opportunities:  10:30 - 11:30AM, 1:00 - 2:00PM, and 6:30 - 7:30PM
Emmet O'Neal Library Meeting Room

A home with a detached garage with an above apartment was destroyed by a tornado. The homeowner’s policy provided the standard coverage of 10% of the home’s value, or $55,000 but the actual replacement cost was $175,000. In this case, not having adequate coverage meant the homeowner could not afford to rebuild the structure. The top 10 claims scenarios will be discussed.

Each session is free and open to the public. This series is for information purposes only, participants will not be asked to make a purchase of any kind. At each session our Personal Insurance Advocates will speak on the designated topic and answer participant questions.
