DENVER, October 3, 2023 — CAC Group, a leading insurance brokerage and advisory firm comprised of CAC Specialty and Cobbs Allen, announced its continued expansion into the Philadelphia region with the appointment of regional leader Jeff Banasz as Executive Vice President at Cobbs Allen. In his new role, Banasz will establish the team’s inaugural office in Philadelphia, further expanding Cobbs Allen’s footprint in the Northeast region.

Based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Banasz spent more than fifteen years in the market where he most recently served as senior vice president at Marsh. In this role, he acted as a strategic and risk advisor for local clients, specializing in project risk advisory, program design, and placements for large construction and manufacturing firms. Additionally, he handled complex property, public entity, real estate, and distribution placements. In his new role, Banasz will lead the Philadelphia office and be responsible for developing insurance and risk management strategies tailored to the needs of large and sophisticated regional firms.
